A Personal Note from Dr. Tom

On Becoming A Chiropractor
When I was 18 years old, my mother took her own life while on her prescribed psychotropic medication. She was sick for as long as I can remember. After that life experience, all I wanted to do was to learn how to help people and to prevent that from occurring for others, but I really did not know how to do that or what I was going to do. Several years later I found myself enrolled in chiropractic college, only then did I start to see this was my real calling in life.

Chiropractic adds to a person's life potential. By removing the disturbance to your lifeline (the spine and nervous system), what I do as a chiropractor ultimately re-connects the mind-body-spirit. Chiropractic doesn't miraculously cure problems. What I do as a chiropractor facilitates the healing process in the body by removing the disturbance to the healing power of the body. And, yes, there have been many great healings and "miracles", that’s why we started collecting the testimonials.

Regardless of the reason for consultation – whether it’s health wellness and longevity, autism, ADHD, sensory processing issues, immune system concerns, neck or back pain, spinal injuries, headaches, ear infections, allergies, etc – The goal is always the same: restore proper nerve function: This is the key to helping your body with whatever is going on.

Today, I feel blessed to walk alongside Spokane Valley families on their health journeys and to offer a place where people of all ages can receive gentle, principled chiropractic care.
